Level 3 Gas Engineering Operative Apprenticeship
Earn while you qualify as a Gas Safe engineer — training in Ilford, East London.
Overview
The Level 3 Gas Engineering Operative apprenticeship (standard ST0155) is the employer-funded route to becoming a gas engineer. You work for a heating, plumbing or construction company and train with FC Training Academy, an LCL Awards Approved Centre (LC 447). The government funds the training through your employer, so there's no course fee for you. The apprenticeship is delivered in partnership with Achievement Training and Skills (ATS), the apprenticeship training provider, with practical gas training and assessment at our Ilford centre.

For employers
Taking on an apprentice is one of the most cost-effective ways to grow your team. Training is funded by the government, with a small employer contribution in some cases depending on your company size and the apprentice's age. Your apprentice must be on your payroll, normally for 30 hours a week (part-time from 16 hours may be possible with a longer programme). We'll handle the paperwork and keep you updated on progress.
